Green School of Motoring Ashton-U-Lyne has just lost a pupil because I'm holding him back. He booked his test and I told him he wasn't taking it in my car. The reasons;- One his last lessons I had to stop the car at red lights three times, his grand dad said it's o.k. to go through on red if they've just changed! He considers he doesn't need to slow down at junctions on back streets. Had to take the wheel off him because he didn't see a parked car. That was my fault because he can't be expected to see in front and use his mirrors at the same time. this by the way is an average lesson.
His mum phoned 15 minutes before the lessons to cancel all future lessons because he knows he's a good driver.

Sean Greens School of Motoring - Google+ Do you know why I write boring blogs? Because they are all about pupils cancelling lessons.
Love the hot sunny weather but I don't work when it's hot, two days into my working week and already as many cancellations as hours left to work. Today first 5 hours cancelled, one may have broking leg or ankle but could re-book for next week, another caught e-coli over night.
So with just a 1 hour lesson remaining this evening I said to the wife if it wasn't for that 1hr we could say, 'sod it we'll go out for the day.' But you can't let pupils down also can't afford to cancel lessons, then guess what? 4.30 text says pupil been rushed to hospital.

Sean Greens School of Motoring - Google+ Love this weather however, there is a down side. It's that word that driving instructors hate. Cancellations, come Saturday I may get the day off. Weather to good to be wasting time having driving lessons.

Sean Greens School of Motoring - Google+ Green School of Motoring has just woken up to the fact that sometimes you have to give up on pupils who constantly cancel. I was lenient because they were also a neighbour but even neighbours can only take the *************** so often. Can anyone beat 23 hours of cancellations. Shouldn't think there is anyone else out there so stupid.

New test centre opened in Greater Manchester, you can now take your driving test from Halfords at the Snipe Retail Park Ashton-U-Lyne. Seams a bit strange when ten minutes either side of it we already have Hyde and Failsworth.

Cancellations
Instructors do you get lots of cancellation? Or is it just me. It appears these days a week without cancellations is a rarity. A couple of weeks ago we had another rarity up here in the North of England, warm, sunny weather.
Sunday and Mondays are my days off, full days work Tuesday from there it quickly went down hill, grandma's died again, even got one call from a pupil who had been rushed into hospital and was in the resuscitation room. Honest, I'm assuming he asked them to hold back on saving his life while he phoned his driving instructor to cancel as you would and book for the following week! By the time we got to Saturday a 9.30am until 6.30 pm day I had 1 hours work 9.30 till 10.30.
