Had to turn down a young man because he's not available when I am. He thinks his instructor is ripping him off, he's had 40 hours, not done any maneuvers or emergency stop. Been on the easiest roundabout in the world, (slip road off to the first exit) once. Said he's fed up of driving the same route every week!
I get mine to do a 'turn in the road' on perhaps their third lesson. Admitted it's more me than them, but they leave that lesson thrilled to bits ready to inform all their mates why it isn't called a three point turn. The lad has passed his Theory and wants another instructor to assess him. I agree with his thinking.
