Not sure if this would be allowed for a test? But I believe they are quite costly to purchase, then it would have to be imported from Madeira so perhap I'll stick with the cars I have.
It's also very noisey.

Up date on the confused gentleman I and a pupil found in Dukinfield on Thursday.
His daughter traced me through my Face Book and phoned to say thank you.
He wanted to be taken to Ladbrook Road, about 2 miles away, he's 92 years old and lived in Ladbrook Road as a child.
He lives with his daughter and she was on the phone when he escaped through the unlock back door, sadly his daughter said they have been fighting with the idea of putting him in a home for some time. However, this latest episode has now convinced them they are not able to give him the care he deserves.
So sad your life has to end this way, I know from experience with friends they are doing the correct thing.

My pupil and I, Good Deed for the day.
Sat at the side of the road we saw an old gentleman trying to cross, who was either drunk or ill.
We watched him, and he appeared to go on his way, but returned, came to the passenger window and said. "It's you".
We got him in the car and not knowing what to do with him took him to a nearby doctors surgery.
Someone came out, said 'he's not one of ours' very helpful.
Therefore all we could do was take him to the police station. The poor chap was obviously suffering from Alzheimer's because on the way there he pointed out a couples of places we passed when he took me to school.
Fortunately for us the police were more helpful, so hopefully he was returned home safely if they discovered who he was.

Six weeks ago I acquired a young man who did an Intensive Course and, his words not mine, failed abysmally.
He's taken a test so my job would be easy I thought. Halfway through the first lesson we agreed we would treat him as a new learner!
He obviously didn't have a chance of passing , which has completely shot his confidence. He's having two 1½ hours a week and still nowhere near test standard.
I won't do intensive courses because I don't agree with them, this poor your man just goes to convince me I'm right.
He took his test never having done - bay parking, he wouldn't get it on his test according to the instructor, he did. In fact he had never done any maneuvers , but the instructor did explain to him how to do an emergency stop?
To make things more difficult he did all his lessons in one area and took his test somewhere completely different.

Is there anyone on here with an automatic Ford Focus?
Bought a 64 plate with a view to perhaps changing over to auto, if it doesn't work as we prefer our personal car to be auto plus as I'm getting nearer to retirement the Focus would be a more sensible car than the wife 3lt BMW.
As you can see it's all ready for the road, now I discover modern automatics are really manual with some electrical opponent, I think? It's been back into Evans Halshaw this week, has to go back again as they didn't have the part.
It's on a 4 year PCP, along with the deposit, brake, full size spate wheel and the rest I'm presently about £4000 spent, not to mention the two new pupils I had to cancel this week.
Presently talking to Evans Halshaw as to which way to go, anyone considering a Ford Automatic, it isn't just my car it's a world wide Ford problem.
